🎤 Lip Sync Battle Contest – Event Overview 🎤

Preliminary Rounds:

• Dates: Thursday, May 8th and Thursday, May 15th

• Contestants must be available for one of these two dates.

• A total of 20 contestants will compete – 10 each week.

• From each round, 5 contestants will move forward to the Semi-Finals.

Semi-Finals:

• Date: Thursday, May 22nd

• The Top 10 contestants from the preliminary rounds will compete.

• Top 5 from the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals.

Finals:

• Date: Thursday, May 29th

• Finalists will perform one song of their choice and one random song chosen from a list of 5 pre-selected numbers.

Performance Details:

• Each contestant will perform one lip sync number of their choice during the Preliminary and Semi-Final rounds.

• Finalists will be randomly assigned one of the 5 listed songs to perform

Scoring & Judging

• Performances are evaluated using a 50/50 system:

  • 50% of the score is based on evaluations from a panel of three judges

  • 50% is determined by audience ballot entry

🏆 Grand Prize:

• Round-trip flight to Calgary

• Dates: Depart Friday, July 11th – Return Sunday, July 13th

• 2 nights hotel accommodation

• $400 spending money

• Performance on the Cowboys’ Stage at the Calgary Stampede on Saturday, July 12th!
